CLAT 2023 exam guidelines released, code of conduct, bell times, and grading method
A seat will be assigned to the successfully registered, qualified candidates at the desired NLU. The initial seat allocation list will be announced on January 18, 2023. Candidates will have the option to freeze, float, or withdraw from the CLAT counselling process.
Freeze option: If the candidate is content with the assigned seat, accepts it, and does not wish to participate in subsequent rounds of seat allocation/counseling, they may “freeze” their seat allocation.
Float option: If a candidate has not been assigned their first-choice NLU and want to leave open the possibility of receiving their second- or third-choice NLU, they may select the ‘float’ option.
Leave option: If, at any point after completing the registration process, a candidate does not wish to continue participating in the admissions counselling process, they have the option to “exit” the admissions counselling process.
Prior to picking a ‘freeze’ or ‘float’ option before the deadline, a qualified candidate who has been assigned a seat according to NLU’s preferences must pay a non-refundable confirmation fee of Rs. 20,000.
