CUET 2022 Registration Process begins for national level entrance exam, important details

CUET 2022 is a modified version of CUCET exam which was earlier conducted for admission to 14 central universities. However, from this year, the exam has been made mandatory for all the 45 central universities graduate candidates. Apart from this, many aided and private universities have also adopted CUET.

Let us tell you that this entrance exam will be conducted in 547 cities of India and 13 countries outside India. This includes Sri Lanka, Qatar, Doha, Indonesia, Nepal, Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Nigeria, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Sharjah and Singapore.

The Common University Entrance Test will be conducted in two slots. For this, general category students in India will have to pay Rs 650. General- EWS/OBC-NCL category students will be charged Rs 600 for each slot and SC/ST/PWBD/Third Gender category candidates will be charged Rs 550 for each slot. At the same time, for students in centers outside India, the application fee has been kept at Rs 3000 for each slot.

The application process for CUET 2022, like all entrance exams conducted by NTA, is also being conducted in a completely online format. Hence, applicants need to upload their scanned passport size photograph along with the signature as well as the category certificate.

As per the notice issued by NTA, CUET is likely to be conducted in the first and second week of July, 2022. This exam will provide an opportunity to the CUET students to get admission in any Central University (CU) and others in the country. CUET will be conducted in 13 languages- English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

• Step 3: Register yourself on the portal.
• Step 4: Login using the login credentials and fill the application form.
• Step 5: Upload photo and signature.
• Step 6: Pay the Application Fee
• Step 7: Submit the form on the portal.
