JEE Advanced 2024 Syllabus: Will It Change Due to JEE Main Syllabus Reduction?

JEE Advanced 2024 Syllabus: The JEE Main syllabus reduction will not affect the JEE Advanced 2024 syllabus. Last year, in 2023, the JEE Advanced syllabus underwent modifications. Therefore, there is very little chance that the syllabus will change again this year.

Experts claim that notice of any changes to the JEE Advanced syllabus would have been given considerably sooner. It is not possible for the JEE Advanced exam to change abruptly and randomly, unlike JEE Main.

Candidates for IITs who plan to sit for JEE Advanced in 2024 should be aware that the exam’s syllabus was updated in 2023. For JEE Advanced 2024, the updated syllabus is also required to be followed. Experts state that the lowering in the JEE Main 2024 syllabus will not affect the JEE Advanced 2024 syllabus in any way.

If included in the advanced curriculum, the topics that have been dropped from the JEE Main syllabus need to be studied by the candidates.

JEE Advanced 2024 Syllabus

There is now greater alignment between the JEE Main condensed syllabus and the boards syllabus. The JEE Advanced 2024 syllabus includes themes that are relevant to evaluating applicants’ academic ability at the IIT level. The two papers that make up JEE Advanced each have questions related to maths, chemistry, and physics. Each of the two required papers lasts three hours. These tests assess the candidates’ analytical, reasoning, and understanding skills.

The following subjects are still covered in the JEE Advanced syllabus but have been removed from the JEE Main 2024 syllabus:

Mathematics: The Mathematical Induction and Mathematical Reasoning modules are no longer included in the Mathematics syllabus.

Physics: The syllabus no longer includes units on communication devices in Physics.

Chemistry: Chapters on Alcohol, Phenol and Ether, Surface Chemistry, States of Matter, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Metals, S-block Elements, Hydrogen, Environmental Chemistry, and Polymers have been eliminated.

It’s likely that IIT Madras will oversee JEE Advanced 2024. Candidates must appear in JEE Main and meet the JEE Advanced cutoff in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024. Along with all other information, the minimum JEE Main scores needed to be eligible for JEE Advanced 2024 will be revealed. Typically, individuals who place in the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main are qualified to take the JEE Advanced exam. Registration for JEE Advanced 2024 is anticipated to open during the final week of April 2024.
