NTA extends the last date of NEET-JEE form correction process

NTA had opened the correction process from 19th March 2020. Candidates can apply corrections in their form by visiting official website ntaneet.nic.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in

Due to the ongoing outbreak of Coronavirus (Covid-19), the National Testing Agency (NTA) has once again extended the last date of application form correction process for NEET and JEE exams. Now students can make corrections in the application form till 3rd May.

NTA had opened the correction process from 19th March 2020. Candidates can apply corrections in their form by visiting official website ntaneet.nic.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in

Date extended for the second time

Earlier, after the government’s countrywide lockdown order, the last date for correction and changing the exam center was set to April 14th, 2020, but now it has been extended to May 3rd, 2020. Earlier in its official notification, the NTA had said that candidates from Jammu and Kashmir can make the corrections using the same link.

How to make corrections

  • First of all, go to the official website of NTA ntaneet.nic.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Then click on the link related to the repair window.
  • After this, click on NTA NEET 2020 and JEE Main 2020 Application Correction.
  • Enter your details like name, roll number and other information here.
  • Make the necessary corrections and download it.

What is NTA?

The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard test in order to access the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.

What is NEET?

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is conducted for the admission in MBBS/BDS and other undergraduate courses related to medicine. Government and private medical and other institutes give admissions to the students based on NEET marks.

What is JEE?

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is taken by students to take admission in engineering colleges. Both government and private colleges give admissions to the students based on JEE marks. National Institute of Technology (NIT) and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) are some of the best institutes for engineering students.
