WBJEEB (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board) has published the WBJEE 2023 booklet online. The WBJEE 2023 brochure is available on the West Bengal JEE website, wbjeeb.nic.in. WBJEE brochure 2023 contains comprehensive information on the entrance exam. The WBJEE 2023 exam is scheduled for April 30.
Candidates who meet the WBJEE 2023 eligibility criteria will be able to register for the exam. According to the most recent West Bengal JEE 2023 update, WBJEE registration 2023 would begin in the last week of December.
The following are the WBJEE 2023 eligibility conditions for taking the entrance exam.
- Candidates must be Indian citizens or OCI holders (Overseas Citizens of India). OCI candidates are eligible for all-India quota unreserved seats.
- Only passed or appeared for the 12th exam in the (10+2) system.
- A candidate must be born on or before December 31, 2006. As of December 31, 2023, the minimum age is 17 years. There is no maximum age.
- The upper age limit for admission to degree-level marine engineering courses is 25 years as of December 31, 2023.
Candidates who intend to take the WBJEE exam in 2023 must begin their preparation immediately. It is critical to understand the exam pattern before beginning WBJEE 2023 preparation. It would assist candidates in understanding the structure of question papers in WBJEE 2023. The examination consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQ).
In each subject, there will be three types of questions. Candidates will receive 1 mark for a right response and -14 for a failed attempt in category 1, while 2 marks will be granted in categories 2 and 3. A bad attempt in category 2 will result in a loss of 12 marks, but there is no negative marking in category 3. The distribution of questions and maximum marks is shown below.
