Initially, it was anticipated that the results would be released by July 15, however, due to the complexity of the examination procedure, the timeline has been extended. The significance of the CUET-UG results is immense, as they will pave the way for undergraduate admissions at more than 200 universities across the nation.

The CUET-UG examination was administered in a highly complex manner, utilising 841 question papers in various languages and formats. The National Testing Agency (NTA) received approximately 25,782 candidate objections to answer keys, further enhancing the evaluation process’ precision.

The processing and finalisation of such a vast quantity of data necessitates a thorough review by the results committee. Once this step has been concluded, the NTA intends to release the results by Monday or even sooner. Over 14 lakh students applied for the CUET-UG this year, a 41% increase from the previous year.

In terms of the number of candidates, the CUET-UG is the second-largest entrance exam in the nation. To facilitate the large number of candidates, this year’s examination was administered in three shifts, as opposed to two the previous year.
