IAF AFCAT Result 2023 expected soon at afcat.cdac.in, check details

Those who sat the AFCAT 02.2023 for the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches can view their results at afcat.cdac.in.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is expected to release the Air Force Common Admission Test, AFCAT Result 2023, on February 2, 2023. Those who sat the AFCAT 02.2023 for the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches can view their results at afcat.cdac.in.

On August 25, 26, and 27, 2023, the AFCAT 2023 was administered at various examination centers across the nation. The successful candidates will join the Indian Air Force as Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officers in the Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches.

Exam Format

Grading System

  • Three points will be awarded for each perfect response.
  • Each incorrect answer will result in a 1-point deduction.
  • No points are awarded for unattempted queries.

How Do I Check the AFCAT 2 Result for 2023?

  • Visit the IAF’s official site at afcat.cdac.in.
  • Visit the ‘What’s New’ section on the homepage.
  • Click the link for AFCAT results.
  • On the subsequent page, input your email address and password. Step 4: The screen will display your AFCAT 2 score.
  • Download the result and print it out for future reference.

Candidates who pass the online AFCAT will be invited to appear before one of the Air Force Selection Boards. Applicants for NCC Special Entry will be summoned directly for AFSB testing at one of the AFSB centres. The AFSB has centres in Dehradun (one), Mysuru (two), Gandhinagar (three), Varanasi (four), and Guwahati (five). On the websites careerindianairforce.cdac.in or afcat.cdac.in, candidates who have passed the written exam must select the AFSB date and venue in order to generate a call-up letter for the AFSB interview.

Physical Fitness

Candidates must run a mile (1.6 km) in 10 minutes, perform 10 push-ups, and 3 chin-ups for the physical fitness examination.

Final Merit List

The minimal qualifying score for the IAF’s written examination and AFSB test must be attained separately by each candidate. Candidates will be ranked according to the total number of points they earned on the written examination and the AFSB tests. The IAF reserves the right to determine the form and method of communicating the examination results to individual candidates.
