To pass this exam, candidates will have to get at least 40% marks in each paper. Examinations are held in December every year.
ICMAI was previously known as the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (ICWAI). It was founded in 1944. The head office of the Institute was in Kolkata. Four others are in the regional office. This includes Kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai.
