While the Medical counselling Committee (MCC) had conducted the second mop-up round for BDS seats offered in Deemed/Central universities from September 2 to 5, 2019, the final result for the same was released on September 6.
With the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) in consultation of Dental Council of India (DCI) has revised the cutoff percentile for admission to BDS courses in the upcoming session, the National Testing Agency [NTA] is likely to release revised NEET BDS course result.
This apart, the cutoff percentile has been lowered to 10 percentile for reserved category, the general category and for candidates with physical disabilities.
According to reports, the move has been taken in order to fill vacant seats in pursuance of the clause b mentioned in the information brochure of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019. The score corresponding to the lowered cutoff percentile is yet to be released by the authority.
