UP Board exam result: UPMSP changes rules, complaints of students being taken by registered post

Additional Secretary Satish Singh said that there were complaints about students and parents coming from other districts often becoming victims of touts or thugs in the regional board office to get their examination results, mark sheets or certificates corrected.

After the UP Board exam, students will not have to make rounds of the regional office for revision of the mark sheet. The Regional Board Office located in Varanasi has made the entire arrangement of Grievance Cell postal based. Students have to send the application along with the complete forms by registered post. This system has been changed to crack down on corruption in the office along with touts and thugs.

Additional Secretary Satish Singh said that there were complaints about students and parents coming from other districts often becoming victims of touts or thugs in the regional board office to get their examination results, mark sheets or certificates corrected. This year also there were some such cases after which the system has been completely postal based. Students coming directly to the office are being refunded. In the regional board office, everyone is being asked to send their complaints by registered post only. In the application, along with the necessary forms, you have been asked to enter your WhatsApp mobile number. The message will be sent on WhatsApp as soon as the amendment is done on their application in the Grievance Cell. Along with this, their revised result or certificate will be sent by registered post only.

Keep these things in mind

– Send the application for any amendment to the Varanasi Regional Office of the Board by registered post only.
– In the application form, the mobile number with WhatsApp must be given. This will give information about disposal and dispatch.
In all amendments, the report of the principal of the school is necessary. He should tell what is wrong with the certificate and what should be amended.
For amendment, countersign of DIOS, original certificate, registration card and affidavit of Rs 10 will have to be sent on the TC.
If absent is shown on the mark sheet, then send the attendance certificate, counter sign of DIOS, original certificate and affidavit from the Principal and in-charge of the examination center
If there is zero number in any subject in the mark sheet, it means that the copy has been checked. In such a situation, get the copy rechecked done.
Original certificates should be sent along with the application. After modification, the new certificate will be sent by registered post.
In the board office, only the cases of date of birth will be amended within three years. Prior cases will not be taken into account.
Do the verification work only on the data available online till the year 2003. No need to come to the board office.
