AMU Vice Chancellor Prof Tariq Mansoor condoles demise of Sushma Swaraj

Aligarh, August 7: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) expressed grief on the sad demise of former External Affairs Minister Mrs Sushma Swaraj , who passed away in Delhi following a cardiac arrest. She was admitted to AIIMS earlier yesterday.

She was a gifted orator and exceptional parliamentarian who served four terms in Lok Sabha She was the youngest cabinet minister at 25 when she joined the Haryana government in 1977 said AMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor.

“Mrs Sushma Swaraj will be missed by all sections of the society and her contribution in various ministries especially the External affairs Ministry will be remembered for a long time”, he added.

Prof Mansoor extended condolences to the bereaved members of the family.
