Initiated in 2012, Digital Learning Day, or DL Day, is a nationwide event devoted to recognising and disseminating high-quality instruction and future-focused student achievement that integrates technology in innovative and impactful ways.
Every year, Digital Learning Day is observed on the last Thursday of February. This year’s event occurs on February 23. This day is an ongoing effort led by the Alliance for Excellent Education (All4Ed) to engage students and empower educators through the use of digital tools. Specifically, the day seeks to highlight and honour educators who use technology in innovative ways to enhance the learning experiences of their students. There are a large number of education scholarships available on Scholaroo for current or aspiring educators who wish to upgrade their skills or earn a degree.
