Future Teachers of America Day 2023: Even during our childhood, we were cognizant of the immense influence that a teacher possessed. Remember when you were in elementary school and argued over who would command the group? Future Teachers of America Day, which is annually observed on November 20, was created to honor the exceptional qualities of educators. It is sponsored by The Future Teachers of America, an organization that facilitates professional development and classroom readiness for aspiring educators. By providing mentorship and teaching opportunities, they assist educators in refining their abilities and maturing into exceptional practitioners. Therefore, are you not going to rejoice with us?

Teaching is a difficult profession, and we commend those courageous individuals who choose to enter it. Prefer proof? Educators earn an annual salary ranging from $36,000 to $45,000, are required to possess a minimum of a four-year degree, and likely allocate hundreds of dollars of their personal funds toward classroom supplies. In addition, their workday does not conclude at the sound of the school chime; they are responsible for grading papers, developing lesson plans, and supervising clubs. The instructors merit a round of appreciation.

We require young individuals to enter the field of education more than ever before. Recent surveys indicate that a mere 4.2% of college freshmen attending four-year institutions in 2016 are pursuing a major in education. This is why we adore the aspiring educators who are preparing to instruct our young ones: they are providing our children with an essential education while also contributing to the teacher shortage.
