I’m Not Going To Take It Anymore Day History

From the perspective of political science and history, a revolution is a fundamental departure from the status quo. Usually, this refers to the established government or social institutions. It might happen suddenly and even violently at times. Organized movements have the power to effect change, whether it is in the political, economic, social, or technological spheres. Revolutionaries have concluded that the established institutions in that particular society have either completely failed to fulfill their intended function or are no longer necessary. There is a challenge to the current political order, and the one that emerges is usually very different from the old one.

Up to the European Middle Ages, revolutions were thought to be destructive forces, starting in ancient Greece. It was considered possible only once the core theological and moral principles had collapsed. When people feel discouraged by the state of affairs, it has an impact on their thoughts and emotions. Philosophers have held varying opinions about revolution throughout history. The Greek philosopher Aristotle saw it as a yearning for equality and honor. Plato thought that a society in social ruin was vulnerable to it, and that it might be avoided by a strongly held set of beliefs.

Throughout the Middle Ages in Europe, the church remained in power. The concept of revolution began to shift later in the Renaissance. It was considered essential to advancement. Many political and philosophical ideas underwent global change between 1450 and 1750. People become more knowledgeable and open to new concepts. Absolute monarchy dominated the majority of European nations, but as unrest grew, individuals began to question these regimes. The Age of Enlightenment was responsible for the global revolutions of the 1700s. These altered more than just the political structure of the nation. It also resulted in societal changes.
I refuse to tolerate it anymore.
