National Build Joy Day came about because Taylor Morrison took the initiative to do something good.

National Build Joy Day 2023: It’s National Build Joy Day on December 2 every year. It was made by the high-end American home maker and developer Taylor Morrison in 2017. The company designs environmentally friendly houses for its clients with the goal of making them happy.

The kind deeds that the Taylor Morrison team performs for those who are in the most need brighten the holiday season. Their work as a group has had such an effect that it has moved people all over the country. Want to be inspired? If so, work with Taylor Morrison to make your neighborhood a happier place.

How National Build Joy Day Came To Be

National Build Joy Day came about because Taylor Morrison took the initiative to do something good. At first, the objective was to aid those who had suffered harm as a result of a tragedy or natural disaster. Every year, the company asks its workers to come up with ways to make their neighborhoods happier. The best ideas are then chosen, and $1,000 is given to each one. Want to know what these ideas were? We can give you a sneak peek, though. The company has given money to many groups and people, from putting together “backpacks of love” for kids who were sent into foster care to paying off a school’s lunch bill through the federal package.

But 2020 changed things for everyone. Because the outbreak stopped all travel around the world, there were even more calls for help. Of course, Taylor Morrison did not let us down. The team did everything they could to get in touch with people in 10 states and save them from unplanned misery. Some of the projects were making blankets for a hospital that was housing veterans, upcycling desks for students to help them learn from home, giving money to someone whose husband had died from COVID, helping an NGO put together workshops for young girls to learn about mental health, helping an animal shelter help families who are having trouble taking care of their pets, and so on.

Also, no! It wasn’t over yet. The company gave $60,000 to HomeAid America and Feeding America to help people affected by the virus during these hard times. The people at Taylor Morrison want you to help your neighborhood in any way you can. You can send in a photo collage or a short video that shows what you did to help others, and it could be used in a “Build Joy” film. How long are you going to wait? Do something nice for someone!
