Additionally, Indiana is renowned for its football, basketball, and NASCAR programs. The State has constructed an extensive system of railways, seaports, and roads. In addition to being the birthplace of numerous renowned politicians, musicians, and poets, Indiana is renowned for its “Hoosier hospitality.” The purpose of National Indiana Day is to honor the state of Indiana and its citizens.
