National Primrose Day 2024: Every year on February 5, people celebrate National Primrose Day. In the UK, a lot of people enjoy and commemorate this holiday dedicated to flowers. Additionally, St. Agatha, a virgin martyr, is honored at this festival. Primroses go by many names. It is also known as “Primula vulgaris,” “English primrose,” or “Common primrose.” This herb grows low to the ground and blooms. Britain and other countries in southern and western Europe are typically home to it.

The Latin phrase “prima rosa,” which means “first rose,” is where the primrose gets its name. The flower is a member of the family Primulae.
