Bihar Public Service Commission has invited applications for the 208 Assistant Professor posts in Government Engineering Colleges. Of these, 83 posts are unreserved. 21 posts are reserved for EWS, 38 EBC, 24 posts for OBC, 34 for SC, 02 ST and 6 posts are reserved for women from backward classes. Interested candidates can apply from today 9 September by visiting www.bpsc.bih.nic.in. The last date of application is 28 September 2022.

Qualification

BE/B.Tech/BS/B.A.Eng./ and ME/M.Tech/MS in Computer Science & Engineering with at least 60% marks OR Integrated M.Tech Degree in Computer Science & Engineering

Engineering degree taken through distance or open mode will not be valid.

Age Limit – Minimum Age Limit – 22 Years. There is no maximum age limit. The retirement age is 65 years.

Pay Scale – 57700, Pay Level – 10

Selection

Marks will be decided in total 100 marks. Marks will be awarded on the basis of performance in academic record and research, written test, interview. Assistant Professors employed on contract will get a weightage of 25 marks. 20 weightage marks will be given for academic record and research work, 40 weightage marks for written test and 15 weightage marks for performance in interview.
