JSSC Lady Supervisor Recruitment for 2023: Age limit, number of vacancies

JSSC Lady Supervisor exam 2023: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has issued a recruitment notice for the hiring of Lady Supervisors in 2023. In accordance with the Government of Jharkhand’s letter dated 13.04.2023 and bearing the number 2160, the Department of Women, Child Development, and Social Security in Ranchi is conducting a recruitment drive. Candidates are invited to submit their applications online via the Commission’s official website, www.jssc.nic.in.

In order to be eligible for the Jharkhand Women Supervisor Competitive Examination – 2023, applicants must meet the educational requirements and age requirements outlined in the prospectus. The examination fee for this recruitment is Rs. 100/-, with a reduced fee of Rs. 50/- for Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Scheduled Castes (SC) candidates of Jharkhand. Additionally, candidates with a disability of 40% or more from Jharkhand are also exempted from the examination fee, as per the Department of Personnel’s letter no. 8559, dated 23.10.2019.

The total number of vacancies available for the Lady Supervisor post is 444, distributed across various categories as follows:

• Extremely Backward Class (Scheduled-I): 42
• Backward Class (Scheduled-II): 35
• Economically Weaker Section: 44

Please note that the number of available positions may be adjusted at the request of the applying department. 2% of the advertised vacancies for Scheduled Tribes are reserved for tribal candidates. These vacancies will be filled by Scheduled Tribe candidates in lieu of candidates from Primitive Tribes in the.

The position of Lady Supervisor falls under Group B Non-Gazetted with a Pay Matrix Level of 6 ranging from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400. To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, or Home Science from an accredited college or university. It is imperative that candidates have obtained this qualification by the application submission deadline, as that date will be used as the eligibility benchmark.

Unreserved, SC, Extremely Backward Class (Schedule-1) and Backward Class (Schedule-2) female candidates have a maximum age limit of 38 years, while Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste (Female) candidates have a maximum age limit of 40 years. All categories of disabled candidates will receive an additional 10 years of age relaxation, provided that their disability is at least 40%, as determined by the appropriate medical board.
