MP Constable Bharti: On February 20, an examination will be held across the state to fill 462 constable positions in the Madhya Pradesh Excise Department. Although admit cards have been distributed, the Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB or MPPEB) has issued a notice three days before the exam informing candidates of a minor change in the address of an examination centre in Indore. MPESB has stated that candidates whose examination centre is Malwa Institute of Technology Indore – PO Palia Hatod Road Limbodagiri, Behind Aurobindo Hospital, Indore, should read this as – Malwa Institute of Technology Indore Dewas, Bypass, Nipania, Indore, Indore.
Candidates will be able to enter the examination centre using their admit card. Candidates who arrive after the reporting time will be denied entry to the examination centre. Only those who bring their original photo ID card will be permitted to enter the examination centre, according to the guidelines. Only after UIDAI verification will E-Aadhaar be valid. Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Ratlam, Sagar, Satna, Khandwa, and Sidhi will host the online exam.
Bring the following items, in addition to your admit card and photo ID: a simple transparent ball point pen Another photo will be pasted on the attendance sheet.
The candidate must bring the duly completed Admit Card as directed.
– T.A.C. In the second part of the application, a self-attested photograph is required.
– Self-declaration and body temperature (thermo guns) will be checked on the admit card at the time of admission, and centre staff will direct you to the appropriate lab after scanning the bar code on the admit card. Candidates must strictly adhere to the instructions provided by the centre staff.
A mock test for the exam is available on the Board’s website. Candidates only come to appear in the examination after learning about the examination process from this.
– The exam will be conducted in accordance with the Corona Guidelines. Social distancing rules will be followed.
– Only allowable items should be brought.
– Before the start of each shift (and after the candidates’ last shift), the seating area will be thoroughly cleaned (monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and chair). All door handles, stair railings, and lift buttons, among other things, will be disinfected. Wheelchairs (if available) will be disinfected.
According to the guidelines of the Government of India, a gap of two seats will be maintained.
– Hand sanitizers will be available for candidates and centre staff at various locations throughout the entrance and examination venue.
– To ensure cleanliness, rough copies/sheets will be placed on all sheets prior to the start of the examination by invigilators wearing gloves.
Candidates should arrive at the centre on time, following the reporting/entry time specified on their admit card, avoid crowds at the centre at the time of entry, and maintain social distance.
To avoid crowding, the lab number will not be displayed outside the centre in any case.
Each candidate will have five A-4 size copies/sheets on their desk to use for rough work. If the candidate requires additional sheets for rough work, they will be made available on demand.
In the written examination, there will be a 100-point paper with MCQ type questions. General and logical knowledge will be worth 40 points, intellectual ability and mental aptitude will be worth 30 points, and science and simple maths will be worth 30 points. The unreserved category must receive at least 60 points, while the SC, ST, and OBC categories must receive at least 50%. When two candidates have equal merit scores, the candidate who is older will be given preference.
