Rajasthan LDC 2018 recruitment faces malpractice charges

Candidates allege that the Commission has reduced the number of posts of General and OBC category after document verification.

The controversy over LDC recruitment is gaining momentum over time. The commission has been facing allegations of malpractices since the release of the final result of the recruitment. #LDC2018_Reservation_Scam is trending on Twitter since 11 am Saturday, April 18, 2020.

Candidates allege that the Commission has reduced the number of posts of General and OBC category after document verification. Candidates say that at the time of document verification, there were 2093 OBC and 5303 General seats in the subordinate department, but in the final result, 587 seats were reduced from both categories, leaving final tally to OBC 1866 and General 4943 seats.

“Reservation in RPSC Lecturer, Senior Teacher, and Reet Recruitment, as well as LDC 2013 recruitment, was completely implemented as per rules but reservation in LDC 2018 recruitment has been altered. It is an injustice to candidates who have been preparing for 2-3 years to reduce posts after document verifications” alleges the candidates.

Candidates said, “A written complaint has been given to Principal Government Secretary Roli Singh and Venkateswara of Administrative Reforms Department, Arun Prakash and Mukut Bihari Ji in the Board, but no action has been taken on it till date.”

A candidate named Sachin tweeted and wrote, “ At the time of document verification in LDC recruitment, there were 5303 seats for the general category and 2093 seats for OBC category in the subordinate department, so how did it become 4943 and 1866 in the final result? Selection Board ARD and Department of Personnel manipulated 587 seats of OBC, General.”

One candidate Lakshmi wrote, “For the first time in history, the total number of posts of recruitment was not notified, no merit list was issued, class-wise and department wise vacant posts were not notified but they did counseling secrecy. Recruitment related officials are trying to hide this scam. ”

Candidates appealed from board to chief minister

The candidates conveyed their grievance with the board, but the board did not take any action on it. Not only this, a letter was sent to the Chief Minister, but their grievances could not be held there either. Now, Candidates have raised their issue on Twitter by tagging the Chief Minister of the state.

Candidates’ Demand

Candidates demand that the board has done the document verification of one and a half times of the 12906 posts, so the final result should also be released according to the 12906 posts and in the LDC 2018 recruitment like the rest of the recruits of the state like RPSC School Lecturer Senior Teacher LDC 2013 and REET. Also, according to the constitution, the benefit of reservation of 21% to OBC and 50% to the general categories should be given.
