According to the list, 2924 of the 7108 positions are unreserved, 1871 are OBC, 1047 are SC, 524 are ST, and 742 are EWS.
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs will fill a total of 2533 positions. These include 1258 Inspector Central Excise posts (382 unreserved, 435 OBC, 202 SC, 104 ST, and 135 EWS), 878 Inspector Preventive Officer, 364 Tax Assistant, and 33 Inspector Examiner. The Central Board of Direct Taxes has 1307 positions.
These include 1090 Inspector Preventive Officer posts (388 unreserved, 195 OBC, 137 SC, 68 ST, and 90 EWS) and 217 Inspector Income Tax posts. The Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India has 500 Auditor C positions and 400 Divisional Accountant positions. Recruitment will take place for 458 Junior Statistical Officer positions in the Union Ministry of Communications’ Department of Posts and 401 Junior Statistical Officer positions in the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.
