SSC CGL Notification 2022: SSC CGL vacancy, Application fee, Selection process

SSC CGL Notification 2022: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will issue Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2022 notification today. As soon as the notification is released, the application process will start on the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in. According to the SSC calendar, the Tier-1 exam (Computer Based Test) of CGL 2022 will be held in December 2022. This exam is conducted for recruitment to Group B and Group C level posts lying vacant in various Ministries, Departments, Organizations of the Government of India.

In this recruitment, in various departments of the Central Government, Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Account Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant, Income Tax Inspector, Inspector Central Excise, Inspector Preventive Officer, Inspector Examiner, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspector (CBI), Inspector ( Postal Department and Central Bureau Office of Narcotics), Assistant / Superintendent, Divisional Accountant, Junior Statistical Officer, Auditor, Senior Secretarial Assistant, Tax Assistant vacancies are out.

Age Range

The maximum age limit is fixed at 27 for some posts, 30 for some posts and 32 years for some. SC, ST category will be given age relaxation of 5 years and OBC will be given 3 years relaxation.

Qualification

Ordinary graduation is required for most of the posts. Whereas for some posts, Maths in 12th is compulsory or in some, a graduation degree is sought with statistics subject.

Application fee

General and OBC – Rs 100
SC, ST, Divyang and women category will not have to pay any fee.
Fees can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Master Card, Debit, Credit Card, Maestro, Rupee Credit Card, SBI Challan.

Selection process

Selection will be based on performance in Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3, Tier-4 examinations. Tier-1 and Tier-2 will be computer based exam. Tier-3 will be from pen paper mode (descriptive). There will be Tier-4 Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test or Data Entry Test).
