Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment: The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has announced 3,359 openings for the positions of Gr-II Constables, Gr-II Jail Warders, and Firemen under the TNUSRB Police Constable Post. The application period for the aforementioned positions is from August 18 to September 17 via the TNUSRB’s official website, tnusrb.tn.gov.in. The examination dates have not yet been announced.
To apply for the positions listed, you must satisfy the eligibility requirements. You may apply for the positions if you have completed Class 10 from a recognised institution and board, can read, write, and speak Tamil, and are between the ages of 18 and 26 as of 1 July 2023. The age restriction for reserved categories has been relaxed.
The notice states that applicants may apply for either the sports allocation or the dependent succession quota; if there are no students for the former, the dependent succession quota will be used to fill the vacancies. It also specifies that 20% of the total vacancies will be reserved for applicants whose primary language of instruction from kindergarten through grade ten was Tamil.
