Because they had not completed two years of service, the police headquarters proposed a one-time relaxation to the government in order to promote them, which was approved by CM Pushkar Dhami on Wednesday. There is a two-year service requirement for promotion from head constable to ASI. As a result, 463 head constables were not promoted.

DGP Ashok Kumar stated that the CM’s major decision will have three benefits. To begin, 463 head constables will be promoted to ASI. When these 463 positions become available, they will be filled through the promotion of constables. Following that, new constable recruitment can take place for 463 positions.
