Recently, hundreds of TET pass candidates protested to demand that the state government and the education department stop handling teacher recruitment. Although the candidates stated they had passed the TET exam in 2014, the teacher recruitment has not yet been announced. The candidates had asked to take out the teacher recruitment by demonstrating in front of the WBBPE headquarters. The candidates once again declined to take the TET and sought to know why they were not appointed as teachers after passing the TET.
