Experimental Playlist in Modern Warfare 3

In Modern Warfare 3, the Experimental Playlist was included after the November 16th MW3 Playlist Update. It is a relatively new feature to the game. Players can test out upcoming in-game features that are scheduled for release in the future by utilising this new feature, which acts as a testing ground within the game. At the moment, the playlist consists of 16 maps with four different game modes: Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, and Team Deathmatch.

The addition of coloured outlines surrounding Operators to increase their visibility against the game backdrop is the most notable feature of this playlist. This feature, which makes its Call of Duty franchise debut, attempts to improve visibility during gameplay so that players can tell Operators apart more easily.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Modern Warfare III (MW3) is similar to that of Call of Duty games and its predecessor, Modern Warfare II. Known as “Open Combat Missions,” the campaign for the single player offers a dynamic experience combining linear and open-world missions. Players are allowed to select how they want to approach these missions; they can use ambush and stealth techniques or go for open confrontation.

Player navigation is improved with the addition of an on-screen map, which includes a tactical map showing the locations of equipment and objectives. All sixteen of Modern Warfare II’s maps are playable in multiplayer, and users can vote on their favourite maps in matchmaker lobbies. The’red dot’ minimap, which was much adored, is back, letting players to monitor opponents when using unsuppressed weaponry.

Along with the new ‘Cutthroat’ mode, which pits three teams of three players against each other, classic game modes like ‘Kill Confirmed’ and ‘Hardpoint’ return. An artificial intelligence-powered moderation system that deals with harmful behaviour in real time is part of the multiplayer experience. At least twelve new 6v6 multiplayer maps will be released after launch, and beloved Modern Warfare II maps will be added on a regular basis.

Additionally, MW3 debuts a novel open-world PvE zombies mode created in association with Sledgehammer Games and Treyarch. In this mode, up to 24 players divide into separate squads and engage in simultaneous combat with AI-controlled human foes and zombies across a huge map. The game uses a ‘zones’ concept, with several levels of difficulty, in contrast to typical round-based survival.

In order to advance the plot, players can take part in story quests, gather treasure, and accomplish objectives. Included in the mode is an intriguing mechanic known as the ‘Aether Storm,’ which lasts for 45 minutes after the fight starts and gives participants a 15-minute window to use their treasure. Weapon wallbuys, Perk-a-Cola refreshments, and the Mystery Box—essential components from earlier Zombies modes—return, adding to an already rich and engaging gaming experience.
