Change background of WhatsApp chat

WhatsApp allows you to change your background in two ways. You have the option to change the wallpaper for all your chats or only a subset of them. To change the wallpaper for all chats, just follow these instructions:

Step 1 – Tap on the three dots in the top-right corner of WhatsApp and select Settings.

Step 2 – Select Chat.

Step 3 – Select Wallpaper.

Step 4 – Hit Change to change the current wallpaper.

Step 5 – If you want to see some bright wallpapers then tap on Bright. Similarly choose Dark to see available dark wallpapers. Select a color to use a color as your background. In the second option, select Gallery to use your own picture as the background.

Step 6 – Select any one of the given options.

Step 7 – If you select a new wallpaper, you will be redirected to the “Wallpaper Preview” screen. There, you can customize it however you wish.

Step 8 – When the wallpaper has filled the entire screen, hit Set Wallpaper at the bottom to make it the default background.
