Power Ghost Season 3, Episode 3: Tariq, Brayden, Effie, and Cane are under significant stress. After Monet killed Mecca at the conclusion of the second season, the group was given the remaining drug supply to transport. The order was issued by Noma, a newcomer to the ensemble of Power Book II: Ghost. She portrays Mecca’s evil fiancée and employer, who governs a global empire. It has taken some adjustment for Tariq, Brayden, Effie, and Cane to become accustomed to transporting the remainder of Mecca’s narcotic supply. After all, they are in mortal peril. The highlight of episode two was when Cane discovered that his father, Lorenzo, had murdered Zeke. Episode two focused primarily on the planning of this operation. Lorenzo acknowledges what occurred after initially denying it and claims it was an accident, but Cane is not persuaded. Instead, he exploits the opportunity to assume control of the family business by any means possible.
Tariq Can Do Everything Other Than Acquire a Car
Let’s begin the new Power Book II: Ghost season on a brighter note, as these recaps have been a bit gloomy in recent weeks. After more than two seasons, there is no justification for Tariq’s lack of a personal vehicle. Even Effie now has a vehicle. Even if it’s an ancient Toyota Corolla, at least it takes you to your destination.

Tariq’s mode of conveyance in New York City is unknown to us. Maybe he takes the train and they just don’t film there, or perhaps he’s a huge admirer of walking and always walks wherever he needs to go, regardless of how far it is. Still, it amazes me that his careless self had the audacity to make fun of Effie’s functional vehicle, and I’m relieved that she had a response ready. Tariq must be able to afford a vehicle if he can afford expensive suits and watches, drug deals and murders, and elaborate plots. Please do not force me to choose between a Rolls-Royce and a Lamborghini Urus; just get a car promptly, Tariq.

Brayden Is Limited In His Capacity
We know this because Tariq, Effie, and Cane commit some of the most heinous crimes conceivable throughout Power Book II: Ghost. In the case of Brayden, it is not true that the stakes involved in the drug trade give them the necessary advantage. Brayden joined the game voluntarily, and not out of necessity. The issue is that Brayden gives in and attempts to get out of situations that his peers and coworkers can handle with ease.

Even though Monet and the Tejadas as a family are under investigation by the NYPD and the federal government, she has only an intuition as to the nature of their investigation. Why? Because Detective Kevin Whitman, the ex-lover of Professor Carrie Milgram, holds Monet responsible for her homicide. Consequently, he will not rest until he has investigated the crime, Monet, and the Tejadas exhaustively. Consequently, he becomes involved in Jenny Sullivan and Blanca Rodriguez’s RICO litigation against Tariq, Davis McClean, and the Tejadas. Now that there is little evidence, all Monet must do is maintain a low profile, stay out of trouble, and avoid speaking to the NYPD or federal authorities. Unfortunately, her pride and obstinacy cause her to snap back at Detective Whitman when he taunts her, sometimes to the point where it becomes harassment.
