Stevie Nicks 2024 Tour: Stevie Nicks, the famed American singer and songwriter, has cemented her place in rock music history with her storied career with Fleetwood Mac, solo success, and current collaborations.
American singer, songwriter, and producer Stephanie Lynn Nicks is well-known for her work with Fleetwood Mac as well as her thriving solo career. She first worked together with Lindsey Buckingham, her lover at the time, making the mediocrely successful album “Buckingham Nicks.”
The first performance of Nicks’ comeback will take place at Mark G Etess Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on February 10. She will appear in Belmont Park, Greenville, Hollywood, New Orleans, Omaha, and North Little Rock over the coming weeks. The tour will come to an end on March 9 in Arlington, Texas at AT&T Stadium, although this specific performance will feature Billy Joel.
When she joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975, her career really took off. With over 120 million records sold worldwide, the band became an international sensation. Their classic album “Rumours” (including Nicks) was certified 20 times platinum in the US. While still a member of Fleetwood Mac, Nicks started her solo career in 1981 and achieved multi-platinum success with “Bella Donna.”
She has received Grammy nominations, been hailed as the “Reigning Queen of Rock and Roll” by Rolling Stone, and made history by becoming the first woman to be inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame—as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998 and as a solo performer in 2019.
Hits like “Landslide,” “Rhiannon,” “Dreams,” and “Edge of Seventeen,” which are all included in Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time, are among Nicks’ enduring legacies. She has become a music legend thanks to the phenomenal success of her solo and Fleetwood Mac recordings.
Journey Freedom Tour 2024: Schedule, Steps To Get Tickets, and Songs
Stevie Nicks has been actively involved in numerous musical projects and collaborations since 2014. She made an appearance in the TV show American Horror Story in 2014, playing a “white witch” version of herself and singing a number of her well-known songs. Nicks joined The Voice as an advisor after winning a BMI Icon Award. Following the release of her eighth studio album, “24 Karat Gold: Songs from the Vault,” she went on tour with Fleetwood Mac in North America.
She co-wrote the song “Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems” in 2017 with Lana Del Rey. Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac on tour after Lindsey Buckingham left and performed at the British Summer Time festival. She was chosen as a double inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Nicks released a live album with brand-new music in 2020 called “Show Them the Way.” She performed as the headlining act at the Shaky Knees Music Festival in 2021, and Primary Wave purchased her song catalogue in December 2020. She worked on “Cracker Island” with Gorillaz in 2022 and published a cover of “For What It’s Worth,” highlighting the song’s ongoing significance.
