The Summer I turned Pretty Season 2
The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2: Is it just us, or do adolescent romance television programmes set in stunning summer locales sound even more appealing? This past June, Amazon Prime Video released The Summer I Turned Pretty, and we need more. The series chronicles Belly’s romantic anguish as she is divided between Conrad and Jeremiah, her oldest friends and brothers. The television adaptation is based on the book trilogy by author and series creator Jenny Han. It is not surprising that admirers of The Summer I Turned Pretty are eagerly awaiting season 2; we are all deeply invested in the story.
Wang Yibo, Li Jiaqi, Lin Yun, and Zhou Zhennan will star in the upcoming Chinese television series The Summer I Turned Pretty. It is based on Jenny Han’s novel of the same name. Belly (Lin Yun) is a young woman who visits her aunt’s beach home every summer with two childhood friends, Conrad (Wang Yibo) and Jeremiah (Zhou Zhennan). As the years pass, Belly observes that the dynamics between her and her companions are shifting, as they all develop stronger feelings for one another.
The show will follow Belly as she navigates these new emotions while juggling the demands of adulthood and maturing. Along the journey, she will learn more about herself and her place in the world. It is anticipated to be a heartwarming romantic drama replete with coming-of-age scenes and breathtaking landscapes.
The second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty has already been filmed, and the news is now official. Prime Video confirmed this wonderful news with a photo of the cast on Twitter, which included Lola Tung as Belly, author and showrunner Jenny Han, Christopher Briney as Conrad, and Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah as they celebrated the conclusion of filming.

One character’s destiny is uncertain in the show based on Jenny Han’s book trilogy. Between the first and second volumes, Susannah, portrayed by Rachel Blanchard, passes away. If Season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty follows the progression of the novels, we may not see Rachel again.
The second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty will also be based on Han’s second novel. Susannah has died of cancer in this book, and both Belly and Conrad struggle to adapt. Conrad ultimately flees, prompting Belly and Jeremiah to undertake a road trip in search of him. Over time, their relationship begins to strengthen. Season one of The Summer I Turned Pretty altered some aspects of Han’s original novel; season two may do the same.
Season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2023.
