It was started in the year 2007 with the aim of making the common people aware. The theme of this year’s World Malaria Day is ‘Zero malaria begins with me’. The target has been set to make our country malaria-free by 2027 and eradicate it by 2030.

On April 25, World Malaria Day will be organized in the district. Preparations have been started for the event.
