Care Bears has been educating children of all ages about empathy and compassion for more than 35 years. In 1981, the Care Bears were created by Those Characters From Cleveland (TCFC), the licencing division of the greeting card company American Greetings.
Worry Bears Share Your Care Day is celebrated annually on September 9 to encourage philanthropy and volunteerism. The Care Bears are on a mission to disseminate caring, sharing, love, friendship, acceptance, fun, and happiness across the globe, and they inspire others to do the same every day! Tenderheart Bear, Harmony Bear, Share Bear, Cheer Bear, and Grumpy Bear, among many others, are all distinct Care Bears, and each wears a unique belly badge that reflects his or her duty and demeanour. They live in Care-a-Lot, a cloudy location that is part of the Kingdom of Caring.
Care Bears has been educating children of all ages about empathy and compassion for more than 35 years. In 1981, the Care Bears were created by Those Characters From Cleveland (TCFC), the licencing division of the greeting card company American Greetings. Jack Chojnacki, co-president of TCFC, introduced the first Care Bear to executives from American Greeting Cards and Kenner in February 1981. In 1983, the Care Bears toy line was introduced to fans around the globe. Since then, they have been in the hearts and imaginations of admirers.
Care Bears Share Your Care Day promotes altruism, compassion, and generosity. It promotes altruism, giving, volunteering, goodwill, and acts of beneficence. Care Bears, in collaboration with 10-year-old philanthropist Zach Kaplan and with the support of Leake & Watts, delivered 400 Care Bears plush gifts to children in New York City for the inaugural celebration in 2015.
In addition, they collaborated with approximately 300 bloggers known as Care Bears #ShareYourCare Ambassadors who pledged to “spread the word, pay it forward, and keep the dialogue going with their own enormous audiences.” National Teddy Bear Day occurs coincidentally on the same day as the holiday.
Care Bears Share Your Care Day is all about affection, kindness, and generosity. Care Bears also donate to charities across the globe, assisting families in need. Through organisations such as We Care Bears, United Way, and Operation Smile, they provide others with optimism and care.

There were ten bears in the beginning. Which bears are Bedtime, Wish, Cheer, Good Luck, Tender Heart, Friend, Grumpy, Love-a-lot, Sunshine, and Birthday?
The Care Bears were originally created by Elena Kucharik for greeting cards, and it wasn’t until later that they were transformed into dolls and broadcast on television.
Additionally, the Care Bears starred in the television films “The Care Bears in the Land Without Feelings” and “The Care Bears Battle the Freeze Machine.” Subsequently, they appeared in theatres in “The Care Bears Movie.”
Care Bears were designed by Cleveland’s character development team for American Greetings.
Kenner desired a distinctive teddy bear, and American Greetings desired a greeting card that could be hugged; thus, the Care Bears were created; they’ve been around for nearly 30 years.
