The background of Comic Con

Comic-Convention was founded in 1970 by a group of comic book fans in San Diego. It was originally known as the Golden State Comic Book Convention. Later, it became known as the San Diego Comic Book Convention. The founding members created the event so that they could meet, socialise, discuss, and appreciate comic books with others who shared their passion. The increased patronage and attendance over the years have made the event a worldwide holiday. Almost every state in the United States now hosts its own Comic-Conventions, which are filled to capacity and filled with amusement.

Comic-Con now embraces the entire spectrum of popular culture, including animation, fantasy, horror, and video games, among others. Each year, more than 100,000 people visit the San Diego Convention Centre to appreciate the event and participate in the merriment. In the past few years, attendance records have been broken and recorded in the Guinness World Book of Records.
