Elmwood Art Festival 2023 Schedule: The Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts aims to promote Western New York’s culture and environment sustainably, by offering a platform for local artists, musicians, and community groups, as well as organizing a children’s festival and beautification projects. It also showcases Buffalo’s Elmwood Avenue Village and its businesses.
Artists will be popping up in front of shops and in (closed) parking lots all along Elmwood Avenue from 11 a.m.-6 pm on Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday. Businesses will be OPEN and many will be offering sales and specials! Look for your tried and true favorites and expect to see some new faces as well.
Food and drinks and live performances! Located right in the middle of the ArtFest, spend some time in Bidwell Parkway eating and drinking, and stay for the live performances. There’s a hot dog eating contest you won’t want to miss.
You bet! All the kids activities will be at the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, 875 Elmwood Avenue. Supported by Senator Sean Ryan and the LAPC, there will be activity vans, face painting, hands on art, and much more.
Start at West Ferry and proceed all the way to Bird Avenue to see all the festival’s artists! Professionals with years of experience are joined by eager newcomers to create a fresh, eclectic blend of artists.Keep an eye out for artists sprouting up in front of storefronts at 716 Elmwood (formerly Cecelia’s patio), 937 Elmwood (ETS parking lot), and 1081 Elmwood (formerly Pano’s parking lot).
