Diwali 2022 Kali Puja Vidhi

Maa Kali can be worshipped in two ways: general puja and tantra puja. People can easily perform normal puja, but we can no longer perform tantra puja without the guru’s protection and instruction. The best time to worship Maa Kali is at midnight. The colours red and black have special meaning in Maa Kali worship.

Before worshipping Maa Kali, the following steps must be taken:

  • Before the shubh muhurat, take a bath.
  • Wear red clothing and take a red seat.
  • Then take a post and cover it with red cloth.
  • Install a Maa Kali image or idol on it.
  • Worship Ganesh ji first, then Maa Kali.
  • Panchamrit should be used to bathe Mata Kali.
  • Present Chunri to Maa Kali.
  • Make a red flower garland for Maa Kali.
  • Make a gift of makeup to the mother.
  • People performing Kali Puja should dress in red, orange, or ochre.

The Importance of Kali Puja 2022

Kali is derived from the Sanskrit word Kala, which means “darkness, time, and death.” The good and the bad, the positive and the negative, coexist in this Kali-personalized cosmos.

Kali Puja is performed to honour the Goddess Kali, whose many forms represent her transformative powers, as well as because the Goddess is very important to the Bengali, Assamese, and Odia communities. The Goddess represents divine energy, or Shakti, and she is worshipped because she is thought to destroy all evil in the world.

This year, perform Kali Puja on the correct date, with the correct tithi and timings. May this Kali Puja bring you and your family and friends happiness and prosperity.
