Sanders ran a candy store and, when he could not obtain sweet cream, he mixed ice cream with soda.
More individuals continued to claim credit for inventing ice cream soda, particularly because it was so successfully marketed and immensely popular. George Guy and Philip Mohr are two well-known candidates for the title of ice cream soda’s inventor.
