Nestle Toll House Cookie Dough Recall:

Nestle U.S.A. stated that the recall is issued out of an abundance of caution in response to allegations of contamination from select customers across the nation.

It should be noted that the cause of the problem has not yet been disclosed.

Neither Nestle nor the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have received reports of injuries, infections, or other adverse effects associated with the recalled cookie dough products. Still, consumers who may have purchased them are advised against using them.

Despite the fact that wood particulates may not always cause severe problems when consumed, they frequently result in infections.

Sharp and relatively larger pieces of wood can even cause lacerations to the internal organs of the digestive system, such as the throat, food tract, tongue, and intestines.
