Rowlands Pharmacy in Tarleton has unveiled a SiSU Health Station and has invited the surrounding community to test it out.
What is the machine?
The new SiSU Health Station is a class IIa medical device that offers a self-service, minute-long health exam.
It provides free measurements of blood pressure, heart rate, and body fat percentage to monitor cardiac health and determine the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.
Community members and local businesses were invited to the Mark Square pharmacy for the launch event this week, where they could check out the SiSU station, have their blood pressure checked, and receive a flu shot.
In addition, the branch’s dedicated staff was available to address any health-related questions.

Emma Scanlan, regional manager at Rowlands Tarleton, stated, “Cardiovascular diseases are the primary cause of death worldwide, yet many individuals do not monitor their heart health until they develop problems.
“At Rowlands, we want to support our local communities by encouraging everyone to take care of their health and consider preventative care as a means of disease prevention, which is why we are pleased to offer such a valuable, free health check service.”
