After his health crisis, he joked on social media about the “killer” stand-up performance that nearly cost him his life at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, California.

In the caption of an Instagram photo, he wrote, “I may have gone too far. Apparently, I had a serious cardiac attack. According to the physician who saved my life in a hospital in Glendale, California, my LAD artery, also known as “the Widow-Maker” because when it fails, you’re dead, was completely blocked.

Initially, the comedian was scheduled to perform a second comedy performance that evening. Thankfully, he went to the hospital instead. According to the doctor, I would have died tonight if I hadn’t postponed the second performance to go to the hospital, he said.

I am still above earth at this time. Kevin was anxious to begin a new chapter in his life after adopting a new perspective. The before-and-after photographs demonstrate that he has indeed achieved this.
