It is an opportunity to spread positive mental health awareness to a larger audience and eliminate the stigma associated with it. The Hip-Hop Foundation, led by former music executive Shanti Das, founded ‘Silence the Shame,’ a non-profit organisation dedicated to mental health education and awareness. Activities such as outreach programmes and wellness training aim to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and provide support for mental health.
