Dr Chris Kammer created Root Canal Appreciation Day in 2005 to raise awareness about the significance of dental care. Kammer, a founding member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, has been engaged in innovative methods of dental care education. In 2004, he performed an original rap song titled ‘Get Out the cleanse’ at the Madison Mallards collegiate league ballpark to encourage people to cleanse their teeth. In 2011, he auditioned for American Idol with the same song.
