National Two Different Coloured Shoes Day is annually observed on May 3 and promotes the value of human diversity. Being distinct distinguishes us from others, and this should not be mocked but rather celebrated.
May 3 is National Two Different Coloured Shoes Day, one of the wackiest days of the year. This day was established to encourage us to embrace and display our individuality. It was developed by Dr. Arlene Kaiser, a public speaker and educator who places a premium on individuality. In 2009, the day was first observed to recognise and celebrate human diversity. On this day, you should wear different-colored shoes on each foot to demonstrate your acceptance of human diversity. Do not fear standing out!
National Two Different Coloured Shoes Day is annually observed on May 3 and promotes the value of human diversity. Being distinct distinguishes us from others, and this should not be mocked but rather celebrated. There is nothing more distinctive than knowingly donning two mismatched shoes and walking confidently in them.
Dr. Arlene Kaiser created this day to celebrate the diversity and differences that make humans wonderful. Dr. Kaiser began the trend by donning two different-colored shoes two to three times per week while going about her normal activities. People soon began to embrace Kaiser’s distinctive approach to life. They joined her in celebrating their differences by donning shoes of contrasting hues, and the trend quickly spread around the globe.
Dr. Kaiser is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and has taught more than 4,000 students in her career. In addition to being a public speaker, she offers coaching services to individuals and businesses. She firmly believes that everyone should embrace their individuality and walk their own path, and she aims to continue influencing the world in small ways.
National Two Different Coloured Shoes Day has been observed annually since 2009, allowing us to express our diversity in the most creative ways.
