I recently had a friend who went through something similar.  He is asking his son if he is okay; he says he was in an accident. I need a lawyer, and I need you to contact this lawyer.

In addition to being in a poor area, the phone was very crackly. The phone was not very clear. It simply cut out. The telephone call was very short, but he was able to give my friend the lawyer’s telephone number just before the line cut out. He received a phone call from a number that was not his son’s; the police had his number.

He was asked for money for his son. Thank goodness he was not in an accident. We must stop these phone scams. It is scary and crazy to hear these phone scams.

New Jersey residents should be aware of these three scams.

Gift Card Scams

If you are receiving a request for payment in the form of a gift card, it is usually spam. This is especially true if it is from a utility company or any other suspicious organization.

Grandparent Scams

This is so sad, and my mother used to receive spam calls throughout the day when she was a patient. We were always concerned about it. Nevertheless, if they receive a call from a family member or grandchild in distress and it is a scam, we are concerned. They claim to be in trouble and require funds. Please speak with your older parents or grandparents about this horrible scam. It is always important to have a backup plan for them.

Email Scam
