Amy Winehouse Cause of Death: Farewell of Amy Winehouse shock The World

To cope with the glare, she sought solace in Camden's pubs, where she met her future spouse, Blake Fielder-Civil.

Amy Winehouse Cause of Death: As Amy Winehouse’s popularity grew, she began to feel uncomfortable with the growing public’s attention. To cope with the glare, she sought solace in Camden’s pubs, where she met her future spouse, Blake Fielder-Civil.

Instantaneous attraction between the couple led to their 2007 marriage. However, her close acquaintances were uneasy about their relationship because of their rapid courtship.

According to her first manager, Nick Godwyn, Amy’s disposition changed drastically after she met Blake, and she became more aloof, which he attributed to drug use. Her association with Blake introduced her to hard drugs, and their turbulent marriage was marked by assault and drug-related offences that regularly made headlines. As a ubiquitous name, Amy received the majority of the criticism.

Blake Fielder-Civil later confessed to having introduced Amy to hard drugs, and after the 2006 release of her second album, “Back to Black,” which catapulted her to international fame, she started to lose control. The album explored themes of substance abuse and her tumultuous marriage, garnering her five out of six Grammy nominations and transforming it into a sonic masterpiece.

Amy Winehouse was unable to witness the ceremony in person due to legal issues that prevented her from obtaining a United States visa. The London-born artist delivered a remote address in which she thanked her husband, who was incarcerated at the time for assaulting a pub proprietor and attempting to bribe him not to pursue charges.

Amy Winehouse Cause of Death

Amy Winehouse kicked off her highly anticipated comeback tour one month prior to her passing. Winehouse laboured during her performance in Serbia, forgetting lyrics and the city she was in. The audience’s response was hostile, and she was ultimately hissed off stage.

Tragically, this misfortunate performance would be Winehouse’s final ever.

Winehouse made a final contact to her physician, Christina Romete, shortly before her passing. During the conversation, the singer appeared composed and somewhat remorseful as she expressed her desire to avoid death. Winehouse disclosed that she attempted sobriety on July 3, but relapsed just two weeks later on July 20.

Winehouse spent her final hours with her bodyguard, Andrew Morris, viewing videos of her early performances on the night she passed away. She appeared to be in a happy mood, as she laughed and enjoyed the memories. On July 23, 2011, around 3 a.m., Morris observed something was amiss.

“It was still quiet, which seemed strange,” he recalled. “She was in the exact same position as she had been in the morning. I felt for her pulse but did not detect one.”

As disclosed by the coroner, her cause of death was ultimately determined to be alcohol poisoning, with a blood-alcohol level of.416 — more than five times the legal limit for driving in England. Her death serves as a poignant reminder of the perils of addiction, as the music world has lost an extraordinary talent.
