Geddie co-created “The View” with Barbara Walters, who died at the age of 93 on December 30, 2022. Geddie served as the show’s principal producer for seventeen years.

In addition, he was responsible for the production of “The Preachers,” “Megyn Kelly Presents,” and “The Barbara Walters Summer Special.” Geddie won a Daytime Emmy for “The View” in 2003, and she received a lifetime achievement award in 2012.
