Burger King Employee who never missed work for 27 years gets 3.5 Crore: Glimpse at his Spotless Attendance Record

Ford made his retirement announcement with a heart full of appreciation for the tremendous support he has received.

A Burger King Employee gets 3.5 Crore: A award was handed to a Burger King employee who, for an incredible 27 years, never missed a day of work. However, the award was merely a token of thanks, which disappointed many. Small-scale goods like sweets, pens, and a Starbucks cup were included in the “goody” bag. But nobody anticipated that this modest gift would trigger something far bigger.

When a video of Kevin Ford accepting the gifts went viral on TikTok last year, viewers were moved by his spotless attendance record.

People thought that his commitment deserved more credit. Recognising the underappreciated dedication, Seryna Ford took matters into her own hands. To give her father the honour he actually deserved, she started a GoFundMe campaign.

And there was a huge response. More than $418,000 (about Rs 3.48 crore) has been donated to the cause thus far. This outpouring of love demonstrated how much of a difference Ford had made in people’s lives.

A Burger King Employee gets 3.5 Crore: Know About Him

Ford has been working as a line cook and chef at the Burger King within the McCarren International Airport in Las Vegas, not only to provide for his family but also to fund their college education. This had been made possible in large part by his employer’s first-rate unionised health insurance. Ford, a single father, gained custody of two of his kids about three decades ago, and that was when everything began. The job continued to provide for his children’s needs and ensure their future when his family grew and he got remarried.

Ford, who is now close to retirement age, committed his entire life to his work since he knew that quitting would prevent him from retiring. Ford would love to visit his grandchildren, his daughter emphasised, and if anyone felt inclined to bless him, he would appreciate it.

Numerous people were drawn to the ad, including well-known celebrities. Each of the $27 donations served as a representation of his incredible 27-year accomplishment. The generosity considerably above their expectations, shocking the family.

Ford made his retirement announcement with a heart full of appreciation for the tremendous support he has received. He was finally able to realise his ambition of seeing his grandchildren in Texas thanks to a portion of the money.

“I have been able to save money for my retirement, the futures of my children and grandkids, and even to eventually buy my own home thanks to the miracle of the kindness of so many people throughout the world. Touched by the love and support he received, Ford noted that “dreams really can come true.”
