Canada Secures the Top Spot as the World’s Most Coveted Work Destination:
Givetastic found the dream places to work abroad for almost every country by looking at the average monthly search volume for buzzwords like “jobs” and “work” and translating them when needed.
The study, which polled people in 164 countries, showed how appealing Canada is because of its strong healthcare system, good perks for workers, and strong job market. Notably, 56 countries (34.1% of the world’s countries) chose Canada as their top choice, which shows how well-known the country is as a great place to work.

Quebec was the most searched word in 28 of the 150 countries that were searched, including Colombia, Mexico, Morocco, and Cameroon. This shows how popular the province is around the world.

Why Canada is at the top?
Givetastic study found that Canada was a top place to work in a lot of different countries, such as the United States, Bangladesh, Chile, Ecuador, Kenya, Nigeria, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and the Philippines.
Many reasons make Canada a popular place for people from other countries to live and work. In the first place, the country has a good standard of life, with world-class schools and healthcare available to everyone.
It is also a safe, quiet, and crime-free country, which makes it a good choice for newcomers and their families.
Canada is also one of the most varied places in the world. It wants to include and accept all faiths and cultures, which makes it easy for newcomers to settle down, become part of Canadian society, and love their new neighborhoods.
The country also wants to make sure that the economy grows and that the workforce is diverse. To do this, it offers many ways to immigrate, as well as funding options and work and study pass programs.
Canada has important immigration programs, such as the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TSWP), which let qualified foreigners live in the country permanently. Canada gave permanent residency to more than 437,000 strangers in 2022, which was the most ever in a single year.
The Canadian government’s Immigration Levels Plan for 2024–2026 was made public by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on November 1, 2023. The country wants to get 485,000 new legal residents in 2024, 500,000 in 2025, and then stay at that level until 2026.
The plan puts economic growth first and supports family reunification. It also addresses humanitarian disasters and takes into account the huge increase in immigrants over the past few years.
