Car crashes into the second floor of a Pennsylvania residence

In Pennsylvania, a vehicle unexpectedly ended up on the second floor of a residence on Sunday. The motorist was rushed to a nearby hospital after the accident.

On August 6, the Junction Fire Company was notified of a “vehicle accident” in Decatur Township. When they arrived, they discovered the vehicle lodged in the second story of a house. The motorist had, thankfully, already exited the vehicle.

A representative from the fire department stated, “Our team had to be resourceful in order to stabilize the vehicle before removing it safely.”

The firefighters remained on-site for approximately three hours, assisting the householders in covering the damaged area with a tarp in anticipation of impending severe storms.

The driver received medical care at Geising Lewistown Hospital. The cause of the disaster is still unknown, but Junction Fire speculated that a nearby culvert may have played a role.
