Casey Jordan Troyer, 37, of Granger, Indiana passed away on the evening of August 25, 2023. His birth date is August 18, 1986; he was born in Goshen on that date. His wife Ashley, son Augustine “Gus” Troyer, stepdaughters Madison and Bella Filley, mother Dilynn (Greg) Puckett of Middlebury, brother Trevor Troyer of Elkhart, stepsisters Andrea Puckett of Brooklyn, NY, and Amber (Jason) Miller of Middlebury, and five nieces and nephews survive him.
His father, born in Union, Michigan, is named Steven C. Troyer. People will recall Casey as a man who enjoyed conversation and possessed an abundance of intellect. He received his bachelor’s degree from Butler University and his juris doctorate from the Mauer Law School at Indiana University Bloomington.
Due to his professional demeanour, Forest River RV, where he was a successful RV salesman, was a good match for him. In addition to golf, he relished basketball and volleyball. He was a proficient guitarist. He valued his interactions with Claude and Julie, his two adored dogs.
His lake days with his nieces and nephews will eternally be remembered fondly by his friends and relatives. He felt a profound sense of connection with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tuesday, August 29, from noon to 3 p.m., the Miller-Stewart Funeral Home at 1003 South Main Street in Middlebury will be available for visitation.
The viewing will conclude at 3 p.m., and funeral services will commence shortly thereafter. The services will be led by Pastor Joe Miller. Ryan’s Place will take donations in his memory, and he will be buried in the Miller 8 Square Cemetery in Goshen.
